スーフェスに行ってきた
いやあ、昨日の首都は10月だというのに30℃越えの真夏日。
暑くて暑くて久々に熱中症になりかかりましたよ。
んで朝からスーフェスの会場である九段下の科学技術館に向かう。
本当は朝早く出て並ぶつもりだったんだけど
家庭内の事情とか諸所の理由があって家を出たのが8時50分頃
九段下までは約30分で九段下駅に到着。
柔道大会開催中の武道館を横目で見ながら雲ひとつない青空の下
ほてほてと会場入り口のチケット売り場へと．．．．
すると異変が!!
ここんところのスーフェスは開催する毎に人手が減って
チケット購入とかもラークラク、入場待ち行列も10分もあれば
会場内に入れちゃうといった感じで推移していたのですが
今回はチケットの購入列が大行列!
ｴｴｴｴ!!と思いつつ購入まで20分ほど待たされﾏｽﾀ。
どうも今回は限定品の購入方法が一部を除いて
多くが入場時の整理券精算になっていた模様です。
私が購入したときに残っていたのはビリケン商会さんのナメゴン
イワクラさんのモスラ誕生、ソフビライフさんのおひるねゴジラ、
マーミットさんのFWガイガン＆FWヘドラなどが残っていたので
モスラ誕生とおひるねゴジラを購入して入場待ち行列へと
移動しましたが他にもガーガメルさんのミニザゴラン等々の
いわゆるアート系のソフビも色々と販売されていて早々に
完売していたようです。
(会場内に入って気付いたものはブースで写真撮らせてもらったりしました）
こういう販売方法は限定品をいわゆるディーラータイムでの
業者買いを減らすための方策として有効であるし
明朗な方法ですので好感は持てますね。
ただし人気商品を購入するための行列するための会場への
到着時間のエスカレート等を招いたりとかの弊害もありますが
以前メディコムがスーフェスに参加していた頃の加熱ぶりは
凄くて徹夜，始発は当たり前（というか始発では購入できない）
といったところまで行ってましたからね。
WFやWCCなどと違ってそういうのが無いのもスーフェスの良さ
だったりもするわけで．．
それに業者購入が減っても個人転売屋がはびこるだけで
某オクをスーフェスというキーワードで検索をかけて見れば
その辺の状況はよくわかろうというもの。
まあ，でも時給換算すればオクで簡単に入手した方が楽
という考えも大いにありだとも思いますし、
寂れるよりはマシなのかなとも思います。
んで、それから入場するまでの約30分間を炎天下で立って行列待ち。
この時点でかなりの体力を消耗しました(笑)。
真夏のイベントのときはそれなりの暑さ対策の装備をして並ぶので
マシなんですが昨日は想定外の事態でお茶のPETボトルぐらいしか
用意してなかったのでマジきつかったです。
